I again had the pleasure of working with Kelly Morgan to illustrate the 'Zoomily' event for the Denver Zoo this year. I think this year's is better than last. The work will be used on a variety of illustrated collateral, including the Denver Zoo's website, in a direct mail piece, a bookmark and on banners around the zoo. Click here, or on any of the images to view a full sized image.

robot_finish
robot_t_shirt

Here are a few pieces from a recent project. I am going to be starting a story blog that is updated weekly - about a robot who is invented by a group of evil mustacioed men to destroy everything. But when he goes out into the world he finds that he loves everyone instead. The robot then goes on adventures helping people out in his own awkward way. When the site goes live (sometime the second week in March) there will be posters and t-shirts sent out! So sign up for my mailing list and let me know who you are.

I recently had the pleasure of helping out a friend - Jordan Sher - with his website. I relied heavily on my doodling abilities to help fill our a variety of pages and help bring Jordan's "Head Full of Ideas" to life. I also did all of the type by hand (I will be posting highlights of it very soon). Beyond just the illustrations I also designed Jordan's business cards, website and a promo that included a bookmark and belly band. Check out the full website here: www.MyHeadFulofIdeas.com. A special thanks to Jordan Sher, Jeff Mason, Hero Design Studio and Dan Weaver for helping to bring the website to life.

New Work!

Here is a recent illustration I just completed for a personal project. It’s a book about funny little people, who live in funky little houses and play crazy instruments. I love drawing funky instruments. {SN}

Eat that tax man - More work for the Miami Herald

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Melchiondo over at the Miami Herald again, this time for a feature about the uncertainty in tax law. Tax advisers aren't sure what the IRS is going to be like under a new Obama administration, and are torn about what advice to give. The concept for the illustration boils down to: Predicting what the IRS is going to do is like doing battle with an archaic monster.
